アレンエドモンズの根強い人気を誇るWaltonだ。ファイブアイレットのスプリットトゥー、カラーリングは明るいブラウンのムラ感が特長的なチリバーニッシュドカーフが採用されている。ソールはオールレザーの中厚シングルソール仕立てだ。ヒールリフトはアレンエドモンズでお馴染みのオリジナルのラバーヒールとなっている。ラウンド気味でノーズの長いディテールは凡庸性に飛んだデザインとなっている。またJMウエストンのロジェやパラブーツのアヴィニョンに近いディテールであり、どことなくヨーロッパ靴のような上品で凛とした雰囲気がある。


Allen Edmonds(アレン エドモンズ)
アメリカを代表する高級靴ブランド。「オールデン」と並び、米国靴の最高峰の一角として知られている。その歴史は1922年に靴職人のエルバート・W・アレン氏がウィスコンシン州の小さな町ベルギーでシューカンパニーを立ち上げたことに始まる。世界大戦中には米軍に靴を供給し、戦後にドレスシューズの分野でも人気を得た。なお、代表モデル「パークアベニュー」はカナダ大統領のスティーブン・ハーパー氏のほか、ロナルド・レーガン氏、ジョージ・H・W・ブッシュ氏、ビル・クリントン氏、ジョージ・W・ブッシュ氏ら歴代アメリカ大統領が就任式の際に履いたことで有名である。
