75年5月にポールはUSキャピトルと800万ドルで契約し、その後のUS及び日本で発売される新譜はキャピトル・レーベルより発売されるようになりました。移籍第1弾がLP「ヴィーナス・アンド・マース」で、国内では75年6月20日に発売されました。キャピトル移籍に伴い、旧譜もレコード番号を変更して再発されることになり、LP「マッカートニー」から「バンド・オン・ザ・ラン」の5枚が7月から8月にかけて再発されました。
このレーベル移籍後初の新譜発売と再発盤のプロモーションのため、東芝EMIは、それまで発売になったシングル曲を1枚にまとめたプロモ・ベストLPを製作し、販促に力を入れました。盤のPMも「5-6」となっており、75年6月の製作ということが分かります。
収録曲は、A面1曲目に新譜シングル曲「あの娘におせっかい」を、２曲目・3曲目に「ヴィーナス・アンド・マース」及び「ロック・ショー」を収録しており、新譜の販促のためのLPということがうかがえます。A面4曲目の「アナザー・デイ」からB面9曲目の「ジュニアズ・ファーム」まで、それまでのシングル曲を中心に計14曲が収録されており、計17曲収録と、目一杯の収録状況となっています。
なお、「あの娘におせっかい」は通常シングルよりもフェード・アウトが早く、時間にして17秒程度短くなっています（他のレコードには収録されていないと思われます）。
